Study Places
At some point in your university career, you
will need to hit the books hard and study.
Here are some nice places to get down to
the nitty-gritty and do your work.
Firstly, the most common place to cram for
that big test or an upcoming class is the
Dana Porter Library. The huge white
building located in the middle of campus, you
can’t miss it. On the rst oor is an
abundance of couches, tables, and desks to
study at. It offers a lot of natural light and
many different resources you might need
while studying or doing homework. A word
of advice from a fellow UW student, the DP
library lls up very quickly so you might
have to hustle after class to get a spot.
The Environment courtyard, located
in Environment 1 is a lovely place to
study for those midterms or nals. It
is a peaceful place to study with lots
of plant life and the sound of trickling
water. Make sure your computer is
fully charged because outlet access is
limited.
If you want to nd additional study
places, the University of Waterloo
