Preschool Program
Preschool Program Description & Philosophy
We strive to continue to provide an environment that positively encourages the physical, social,
emotional, adaptive, aesthetic, intellectual, and language development of each unique child in a
safe and nurturing setting. Our preschool provides an early intervention and educational
foundation for all children, including children with disabilities. Our small class sizes and variety of
instructional strategies enable our students to realize their unique potentials while exploring
their environment and developing in many areas as they prepare for kindergarten. Each classroom
has students with special needs as well as typically developing peer models. Licensed special
education teachers teach the classes and differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of all
our learners. Our maximum class size is 14 children with a teacher and 2 teacher aides in the
classroom which provides a low student-adult ratio. Integrating children with varying abilities
provides our young children with a belief system that is conducive to positive character building
and overall compassion.
