STRATEGIC PLAN GOALS
AND OBJECTIVES
GOAL 1: SAFETY
To remain committed to keeping all students, staff, and visitors safe.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Provide proactive safety plans and crisis intervention plans.
2. Ensure safe and secure facilities.
3. Provide preventative educational programming/maximize wellness to reduce risky
behaviors for students, staff, and community.
GOAL 2: FINANCES
To continue to be accountable, responsible and transparent in the efficient planning,
management and oversight of all financial resources for the long-term stability of the schools.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Continue internal and external communication of the fiscal plan.
2. Continue community involvement outreach and finance meetings to seek
advice/counsel.
3. Maximize revenue opportunities.
4. Maximize opportunities for efficient operational practices.
GOAL 3: STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT, WELLNESS AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
To continually provide an excellent, nurturing environment to develop the whole child in
order to reach their maximum academic, artistic, musical and/or physical potential to
become productive citizens with a positive sense of wellbeing.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Maintain a positive culture by fostering student leadership and student empowerment opportunities,
which are important to creating student wellness and academic excellence.
2. Promote student achievement by expanding service learning opportunities district-wide.
3. Provide options for students to participate in electives while meeting core academic requirements.
4. Implement innovative programming with more opportunities for student choice.
5. Engage students in application learning/real world experience.
6. Encourage vertical articulation and collaboration among schools to better develop curricula.
7. Develop a better understanding of time expectations around academic, physical, music and
arts programs.
8. Focus on wellness programs, with emphasis on managing testing stressors (e.g. testing, schedules,
time management, social media).
9. Continue to maintain and improve academic excellence with 21st-century skills.
