The Accident
On the afternoon of May 14, 2007, I found myself on the bottom of a river, staring up through the water with a 1000 lb. horse on top of me with only a short period of time to live. This is the moment when 25 years of living the Healthy Till 100TM lifestyle became crucial. Let me explain.
The first and most likely outcome of this situation would be drowning beneath a horse that couldn’t get up on its own. However, fifty-three years of age seems a bit young to check out.

Since I am writing this eBook, it is clear the first outcome didn’t happen. Living Healthy Till 100TM made the second option, that I survived, crucial for the survival of myself and family. Let me tell you the story and describe the secrets of 1982 that made this all possible.
On May 14, 2007 I arrived home from Europe at 1 am. That afternoon after school, my son Jar- ed asked me to go riding with him in the river bottoms just below our home. He was training a horse, and despite experiencing jet lag, I went with him. After crossing the river, Jared decided to go up a steep muddy bank. Being more pru- dent, I chose to go further up the river to an area that wasn’t so steep and muddy. However, being only half awake from jet lag and not paying at- tention, my horse chose to split the difference and we went up the steep, muddy bank...side- ways. Immediately, my horse lost her footing and started scrambling.
Being faced with a horseman’s worst dilemma in a tight situation, bail or stay, I bailed. How the next few seconds transpired is a bit unclear, but I found myself in the air with my horse above me thrashing around trying to keep her footing. She kicked me twice. I rolled to my side and hit the water with my right shoulder, the horse followed, pinning me to the bottom of the river with her legs up on the bank. She couldn’t roll off
