Relaxing Places Promthep Cape
The most famous and arguably most beautiful
viewpoint in the whole of Phuket, Promthep Cape, is
the best place to sit back with a loved one and
watch the sunset into the see. A gorgeous cape with
bay and sea views and a lot of greenery, it’s
romantic, beautiful, and every bit the sort of scenes
you imagined you’d be seeing when you boarded
the plane for Thailand in the first place.
Phuket Old Town
Phuket Old Town was built on riches reaped from
Phuket's tin boom of last century, when the metal was an
extremely valuable commodity. In this quarter of the town
you will see grandiose Sino-colonial mansions, once
occupied by Phuket's tin barons of 100 years' ago. Phuket
Old Town is compact enough to stroll around in. The best
time to do this is early in the morning or after the day has
lost its heat. There are enough restaurants and cafés to
provide you with refreshments so don't bother taking a
picnic along!
Patong Beach
Patong Beach is known as the heart of Phuket, tourists
swarm here in their thousands and parking is often impossible
but it is worth the experience at least once on any trip to
Phuket. There are two things people come to Patong Beach
for, its beach and the wild nightlife. The beach is about 2
kilometres long and you can try parasailing, jet skiing or just
rent a sunbed to relax for a few hours. The nightlife centers
aound Soi Bangla and you can witness many a ladyboy
strutting their stuff whilst enjoying a drink or two.
