Tutoring and Assistance at Weatherly Heights ESL Center
On Wednesdays from 9a-12p and 6p-8p, Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter had the opportunity to serve Weatherly Heights Baptist Church ESL Center in a multitude of ways. We offered clerical support, substitute teaching, refreshment serving, and daycare assistance. This truly rewarding experience started as a one-time partnership for our Global Impact Week that blossomed into a year long project. Twice on month, on Wednesdays, Sorors had the opportunity to sign-up for time slots to assist this program and it has flourished since. Weatherly Heights provides ESL and Citizenship Classes.
The map depicts a pin for each country represented in the program. There are over 25 countries represented in the classes each week.
