 “Hidden No More”
Soror Monica L. Dillihunt represented Target 5 on the Panel for
the Hidden No More: Empowering Women in STEM Luncheon and Community Round Table. Global Ties Alabama hosted a
distinguished delegation of female STEM leaders November 2-6. The "Hidden No More" delegation was comprised of 9 global STEM
leaders. They spent the morning of Monday, 11/4 at NASA and from 12-2pm they were hosted by Dr. Debra Barnhart at USSRC for a Community Roundtable luncheon followed by the visit to the Mae Jemison HS to meet the FIRST Robotics team. Disney was present and had a crew to film their activities that day. Dr. Dillihunt shared her work at UAH, the collaborative work with AAMU and others in STEM; in addition to the Global Impact Involvement in the community of the Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Inc®. Other EGO Sorors supported the event.
