A: Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 there are field trips. For the safety of your child, we keep the ratio to one staff person for every nine children. Not every child can attend every field trip. When there is a field trip scheduled the site is closed for the children not attending that trip. Children must be a regular participant to attend field trips. Field trips are not guaranteed and are a separate registration fee.
SACC is available for a fee at Chippewa Valley Schools.
Q: How do I know what my child will be doing each day?
A: Each Monday, the day camp staff will have a newsletter and lesson plan available for each day of the week. These will also be available at our website www.myctpr.com This will help your child attend the activities they are most interested in.
Q: How is a day camp different from daycare?
A: This program can be a great addition to your child’s summer but it is not a daycare program. Children should be prepared to take part in each activity whether they attend one activity or all of them. For the most positive experience, review the weekly lesson plan with your child and plan their week accordingly.
