Paint and Pour at the OAC - Becoming an Urban Outdoors Woman 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Join us for an introduction to our upcoming program series, Becoming an Urban Outdoors Woman (BUOW)! If you are interested in getting involved in more outdoor activities but don’t know where to start, this will be perfect for you! Bring a friend along to sip some Michigan wine while painting a unique urban nature scene. Before the painting starts, OAC staff will give an overview of the BUOW program so you can learn more about the exciting outdoor activities to follow in this bimonthly series.
Event cost - $40 per person
Participants must pre-register for this event by emailing their name, phone number, and the number of guests who will be attending to DNR-OAC@michigan.gov.

Veteran’s Day All day
We would like to recognize and thank our Veterans and current active military by providing FREE admission to the OAC and coffee. Must bring military ID.
Reg Pettibone’s Authentic Native American Program
2:00 p.m.
Pettibone, a full-blooded Native American and champion Pow Wow dancer, from the HoChunk Nation, and his wife will present a true understanding of Native American culture through dance, song and stories. This performance has both educated as well as entertained audiences throughout the United States. Audience participation and an artifacts display is also included.
FEE: Included with the price of admission.
