Karate Basics for Teens and Adults
44103 N. Groesbeck, Clinton Township (South of Hall Rd on West side of road).
Why karate? Physically, you will have increased flexibility, have stronger muscles, improved coordination and stamina. Mentally, you will have improved focus and concentration, and clarity of mind. Spiritually, you will gain a sense of new-found ability to reach your goals, the right attitude to face daily challenges, and a refreshed outlook on everything in life. This class studies the principles of karate: kihon (basics), kata (forms), and self defense. The goal of this class is to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit. All levels of fitness welcome. A free uniform is included in the price. However, you should wear comfortable clothing such as sweat pants and a t-shirt for the first class. Proper precautions will be taken in accordance with Michigan’s Executive Orders to reduce the spread of any illness. If in person training is not allowed, all classes will be held online.

 Karate is a great way to get your child ready for school! This class is geared towards teaching young children skills such as coordination, focus, team work, respect for others, and self defense all while giving them a boost in self confidence. The class will involve a lot of exercises, running, jumping, and the basic fundamentals of Karate. A free uniform is included in the price. However, your child should wear comfortable clothing such as sweat pants and a t-shirt for the first class. At the end of this introductory course, your child will demonstrate what he/she has learned followed by a completion ceremony where they will receive a belt and a certificate. Proper precautions will be taken in accordance with Michigan’s Executive Orders to reduce the spread of any illness. If in person training is not allowed, all classes will be held online.

Karate Kids
In this class, students will practice the basic fundamentals of karate such as stances, punches, and kicks and then put it all together to form self defense techniques. Benefits include: Improved balance, speed, focus, confidence and self esteem. The overall focus of this class is to build good character. All levels of fitness welcome. A free uniform is included in the price.
