Passionate about health and wellness, Mary Bann of RE/MAX Defined has turned her wealth of knowledge about proper nutrition, natural cleaning supplies, and healthy personal care products into a niche marketing tool for her real estate business.
After being struck by a virus that left her with a debilitating inner ear imbalance and severe asthma, and finding that traditional treatment options had little to no effect, Mary began looking into natural alternatives to help support her body and immune system. Once she began giving her body proper nutrition and made changes in the types of cleaning and personal products she used, Mary slowly began to regain her health.
Mary began to attend classes, lectures, and conferences all over the state to learn more on living a healthier lifestyle, and realized the need to share her knowledge with others so that they could benefit from the information too. She decided to create “The Healthy Home Coach”.
Creating “The Healthy Home Coach” name and website has proven to be the perfect marriage for her real estate business. Mary’s goal is to attract people to her website who are seeking healthy living advice and once they are there, they have the opportunity to search for homes or contact her about real estate questions and services. She also uses the “Healthy Home Coach” name on her mailings, business cards, and email signature.
Mary also offers free classes that cover many different topics including avoiding toxins, healthy kids and creatures, and immune system support.
Because of this, she has had the chance to connect and build a rapport with people that she may not otherwise had the opportunity to do so. It is a win- win. She has the opportunity to help people find their home and teach them how to make that home a healthy one. Mary has closed at least eight transactions as a result from people attending her classes or visiting her website.
