Choice of Funding

Choice of Funding (COF) has been specifically designed to

help you adhere to the FCA’s overarching principle of Treating

Customers Fairly.

▪ Every customer is provided with clear and appropriate

information on payment options and the different costs

associated with those options.

▪ Allows customers to make a direct comparison of the total

costs of all the different options available to them, including

cash.

▪ The customer signs to say they’ve seen and understood all
the finance options available – providing your business with

an audit trail.

▪ The COF form is not a quotation nor does it replace the
pre-contract information – and it should never be

presented as such.
