Samantha Hassinger joined the department in in March 2021 as the new financial support assistant Hassinger recently graduated Penn State with a a a bachelor’s degree in in accounting and business administration Michelle Hill department head assistant is is departing in fall 2021 to relocate closer to family in Florida Hill joined Penn State in in 1994 and served in CEE for the last five years In 2019 she was recognized for twenty-five
years of service to the University Al Knisely IT consultant is is retiring in in October 2021 He joined Penn State in in 2005 as an IT support specialist for the Department of Physics and worked for the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering (now two separate departments) for ten years prior to joining the CEE department in in in 2017 Amy Long administrative support coordinator received a a Penn State Engineering COVID-19 Spot Award a a a a one-time award that acknowledges extraordinary contributions related to the University’s pandemic
response Long was recognized for her initiative to go well beyond what is required in the course of her duties
