Introduction



                       The contents of this booklet has been created as a guide for follow-
                       ing through on EPIC’s Emergency Preparedness Plan.  It outlines
                       emergency procedures, contact numbers, and “Go Kit” inventory
                       tracking.
                       Although all emergencies are not addressed, we have covered those
                       that are most common to Maryland.
             Introduction/Local Emergency Numbers
                       Please keep this booklet in a location of easy access.  Review it’s
                       contents regularly as a means to increase your response time in the
                       event that you have to respond to an emergency.
                       MAKE SURE TO FILL OUT THE “SPECIFIC SITE INFOR-
                       MATION” SECTION ON THE PAGES TO FOLLOW.

                       If you are in immediate danger call 9-1-1.
                       For resources in preparation of disaster, call 2-1-1:
                       •   For information on numerous programs and services designed to
                          provide varying types of assistance to seniors, those with a disa-
                          bility, and their loved ones.
                       •   That is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

                       •   To help you figure out ways to extend your food budget to feed
                          yourself and your family.
