Microsoft’s objective in establishing a presence in the Bay
Area by creating a half million square foot ‘Model Campus’ in
the Silicon Valley, was accomplished by a consultant team
led under the prime contract of Quezada Architecture.
QA was responsible for managing more than thirteen
sub-consultants including design-bid-build engineering
firms to achieve the full build-out encompassing
all aspects of entitlements, architecture, interiors,
landscape, technology and signage within a 24 month
fast-track completion time-frame.
The sustainably green campus features orchards,
recreation facilities, in-house food service and electric
car charging stations for Microsoft development groups
including Hotmail, WebTV, and other continuing Silicon
Valley software developer acquisition groups.
