Liquid Use between 1/4c - 1/2c per load
(as you would normally use liquid detergent)

I switch up which oils I use every time I make a batch but one of my
favorite combinations is 10 drops OnGuard + 10 drops Citrus Bliss

The Citrus Bliss smells amazing {think creamsicles} and the OnGuard is
a protective blend. Other oils I have used in this recipe are Lavender +
Peppermint, Purify Blend or Lemongrass.

(Be sure to store in glass or HDPE Plastic #1PETE or #2 PETE)

Cost Breakdown:
1c Castile Soap = $3.75 {based on Dr. Bronners $15/32oz}
1c Baking Soda = $0.31
1/3c Sea Salt = $0.50
20 drops of dōTERRA essential oil = $1.60 (or less)
TOTAL = $6.16 for about 60 loads

To Compare Costs:
Tide Free + Gentle costs at least $12 to do the same amount of loads. So being that the average home does 350 loads/yr you would end up
purchasing about 6 jugs of Tide {$72}. Making your own with this recipe would cost you $37/year.

Other cleaner companies with products:
- Norwex costs about $30 for 40 loads
- doTERRA OnGuard laundry detergent that costs $35 for 64 loads – I love this stuff!!! I also love their OnGuard Cleaning Concentrate for
stains too!

So although the financial incentive isn't crazy high, when you factor in the convenience of making it at home, the fact that it's completely safe on
your skin (especially if you or family members have skin issues) and the greatest factor of all is that IT WORKS!
