Add this tea is the perfect combination of seasonal fruits and herbs, and brewed in the sun, it makes the ultimate summer thirst quencher! This tea is incredibly easy to make with whichever dry or fresh herbs you have lying around! All you need to do is toss your ingredients in a jar and store in a sun-filled spot for a few hours.
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh fruits or berries
1⁄2 cup dried herbs
Handful of fresh mint leaves, to your liking 1⁄2 a sliced lemon
Sweetener of your choice (we prefer honey)
Directions
1.Combine all ingredients in a lidded jar, and add 2 quarts of water
2.Place in the sun for 1-3 hours, shaking the jar well a few times
3.Strain and add your desired sweetener If you’d like an iced tea, add ice!
4.Store your remaining tea in the fridge for up to one week
NOTE: Adding any kind of sweetener during the brewing process can cause unwanted bacterial growth if left in the sun for too long. It’s best to sweeten your tea after the brewing process.
