GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduation from Keyport High School is based on the following requirements:
 Proficient score achieved in ELA and Mathematics state assessments (See chart on next page)
 A minimum of 135 credits of coursework.
 And the following specific subject area requirements

English/Language Arts 20 Credits

History 15 Credits (including World History, and two
full year courses of US History)

Science 15 Credits

Mathematics 15 Credits (including Algebra I, Geometry, and a
third year of mathematics that builds on the
foundations of Algebra and Geometry)

Physical Education and Health 5 Credits for every year enrolled in a NJ High
School
World Language 5 Credits

Visual and Performing Arts 5 Credits
21st Century Career Education and 5 Credits
Consumer Science, Life Skills or Vocational
Training
Financial Literacy 2.5 Credits

General Electives No minimum
Community Service (starting with Class of 5 Hours
2020)
