Introduction

            Lake and Co was established in 2008 by me and my wife, Natasha. Whilst there were other property
            companies in the market, many worked with a single focus of either sales, letting or acquisition, with only a
            couple offering a combined or multi-directional approach. Having both worked within cynical and broken
            corporate structures, we were each looking for a change. We wanted to be proud of our firm and for it to
            reflect our personal ethics of integrity and humanity.

            The financial crisis created a quantum shift in the market, as previously accepted business frameworks
            ceased to be effective and larger companies were forced to scale back and restructure to survive. This
            created a desire for more holistic and personal relationships with smaller companies and individuals.
            Investors were looking for tangible, stable assets with steady, predictable returns. This, combined with the
            seemingly impervious international appeal for central London property as a safe haven for investment, made
            for the perfect time to start our firm.

            Prior to this, Natasha and I worked for some of the most recognised real estate brands in London, as sales
            negotiators and sales managers. With involvement in thousands of transactions over the years, we
            understand how to maximise value, while also being able to see the bigger picture. Building on this
            experience, we have sought to create a unique company that can provide a discreet, client-led, personal
            service for a select few and to ensure consistent market-beating results for our clients.

            Lake & Co is a small, tenacious and entrepreneurial team, which covers research, search acquisition,
            property management, development analysis and interior design. We bring a distinct blend of capabilities
            that give a balanced and focused approach to every project. The support of such a competent team allows
            me, as Managing Director, to remain personally involved with each project, offering our clients a consistent
            focus and a direct line to someone who knows the details of their individual requirements. We have grown
            organically over the years in order to retain our personal style and commitment to providing an exclusive,
            responsive and tailored service.
            Our clients range from heads of industry to the ruling classes. We work on a limited number of projects at
            any one time so that we can maintain a consistently high level of service. We look after our clients’ assets
            and invest their money as though it was our own and we continually monitor our clients’ needs and optimise
            the investment strategy accordingly.

            Lake & Co will undertake any and all works relating to property, from initial appraisal of a purchase or
            investment, through to acquisition, redevelopment, sale or letting, interior design and on-going asset
            management. Our depth of industry experience and contacts enable us to instruct the appropriate
            professionals to ensure our clients receive the best value, advice and service in class.

            We have established relationships with leading service providers, but we are not affiliated with any other
            company, so our loyalty and focus is always with our clients. The advice we provide takes account of both
            long and short-term factors and is intended to provide clarity. As a result, we have an ever-expanding, loyal
            and trusting client base that continues to enjoy our ability to manage all aspects of their property
            investments. Lake & Co is an entirely referral-based company and we are extremely proud of our reputation
            for providing a service that is as unique as our clients themselves. Our only mark of success is measured by
            our clients’ satisfaction and continued patronage.
