This is what you’ve been waiting for – a chance to see the newest products and software! Your biggest
working investments are your tools of the trade. This is a unique to see and compare equipment and
systems and to meet the “team” behind the company name.

Being your own boss can be great! But when you are self-employed, you are also the human resources
representative, office manager and account. Finances can get complicated! A little prep can equal
financial success!
11:00 – 12:00 pm NATIONAL REALTIME CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST

Competition is heating up for NVRA’s 6 Annual National Realtime Championship contest! The
contest will consist of one eight-minute literary dictation at 180 wpm. No registration fee is required
for the contest; however, you must be registered for at least one full day of convention and be a
member of NVRA in good standing. You must register prior to the convention to be part of the
contest. Contest rules:
• Participants may use an open or closed mic.
• The administration and grading of the contest follows the RVR guidelines established by NVRA.
• Winners must score 85% or higher. A winner will be named for open mic and closed mic based on
accuracy.
• A score of 80% or higher will result in the award of two continuing education units for NVRA.
