In addition to the Village the Pacific Highlands Town Center is made of the following:
2. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL – Canyon Crest High School was built in 2004 and is part of the San Dieguito Union High School District. It has an enrollment of 2,000 students
3. MIDDLE SCHOOL – Pacific Trails Middle School is the newest of 5 middle schools in the San Dieguito Union High School District. It opened in the fall of 2015 with a class od 200-220 grade 7 students and will reach preliminary capacity in the fall of 2016 with both 7th and 8th graders. The school ultimately have 1000 students. A potential third phase in 2018 will based on need. The attendance boundary will draw from Ashlet Falls and Sycamore Ridge Elementary.

Taylor Morrison Project – The IVY and the ELMS - This developer is building 174 single family homes called Elms and Ivy. It will be a mixed of alley loaded homes (Like Portico) and traditional homes with garages in the front 174 Single Family Residences

7. APARTMENT & ATTACHED DEVELOPMENTS – Wermers Multifamily Project
280 apartments and 197 attached units called “Cielo Carmel” will be developed on 7.4 acres adjacent
to the Village by Wermers Properties in partnership with R&V Management and designed by architects Orange. Amenities will include a life style club area, pools, cabanas, pet grooming facilities and roof deck.
8. OFFICE SPACE – 790,000 SF located to the south of Wermers and east of Canyon Crest High School.
