Santaluz - Exterior
Santaluz Exterior consists of five distinct communities outside of the gates leading into Santaluz. The area is located adjacent to Fairbanks Ranch to the west and across the street from Santaluz to the east.
The area outside of the gated community of Santaluz includes the following communities:
Verrazzano – This community of 218 single family homes were built by Shea Homes in 2003 and 2004. Architecture is old world European, Mediterranean and Tuscan. There are three private parks, a bocce ball court, tree-lined streets and an exclusive village area within walking distance.
Santa Monica – This community is gated and consists of 97 single family estates between 3300 - 5500 square feet. Originally called the Colrich Collection the community was purchased and completed by Pardee in 2003. Architecture is Old California.
The Ranch @ Santa Monica – This community is gated and consists of 43 homes. Built by DR Horton/Standard Pacific in 2002. The homes are larger than Santa Monica and range from 3,800 - 5,500 square feet.
Mirasol – This is a gated community of 50 single family homes. Architecture has Spanish, Tuscan and Mediterranean influences. The homes were built by Pardee in 2004 - 2005 and range in size from 2,800 - 5,300 square feet.
Sycamore Walk – There are 120 Townhomes originally built by the Olson Company in 2003. Townhomes at Sycamore Walk range from 600 – 1,900 square feet and typically feature multiple levels of living space, open spacious kitchens and usually include an attached dining area. These homes were originally purchased by buyers who qualified for San Diego “affordable housing.” Individuals with incomes under $35,000 and families with incomes under $51,000 purchased homes from $300,000 - $500,000.
Residents of Santaluz have access to the Hacienda membership by purchasing a Clubhouse & Spa or Golf Membership.
