LiveHealth Online
LiveHealth Online uses two-way video to connect you with U.S. board certified doctors over the internet. You can see a doctor on
the go, right from your mobile device. Doctors can answer your questions, make a diagnosis and even prescribe necessary medica-
tions, if you need them. Enrolling is really quick and easy. Then, each time you log in, you’ll see doctors that are available in your
state. If English isn’t your first language, try searching for a doctor based on your language preference. You can use LiveHealth
Online for many different health issues, such as colds, the flu, allergies, sinus infections, bronchitis, diarrhea, family health. Keep in
mind, LiveHealth Online is not for emergencies. If you experience an emergency, you should go to the emergency room or call 911.
LiveHealth Online Psychology
Use LiveHealth Online Psychology to visit with a licensed therapist or psychologist for one-on-one talk therapy over the internet.
Therapists provide talk therapy and do not diagnose patients or write prescriptions. Most therapists specialize in a certain field like
family therapy, Marriage counseling, occupational therapy, educational therapy, etc. The psychiatrists you see using LiveHealth
Online can prescribe medication or help manage any medication you might be taking for a behavioral health condition. Online
counseling is not appropriate for all kinds of problems. If you are in crisis or have suicidal thoughts, it’s important that you seek
help immediately. Please call 1-800-273-8255 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) or 911 if you experience an emergency.
Accessing LiveHealth Online
Go to www.livehealthonline.com. Select “Sign Up” if you do not have an account. Click “Log In” if you do
have an account. Complete the information about yourself and your health issue, then search for a doc-
tor in your area.
LiveHealth Online Psychology: After you log in to LiveHealth Online, select LiveHealth Online Psychology.
Mobile App for Apple and Android Devices: Download and open the LiveHealth Online app on your Apple
or Android device. You will be asked to complete your profile by adding your medical ID# and a credit
card.
Glossary of Terms
• Deductible: The amount of out-of-pocket expenses that you must pay for before any expenses are payable by the plan.
• Copay: The flat dollar amount a covered individual is required to pay for certain services (could be before or after meeting
any applicable deductible).
• Coinsurance: A cost sharing agreement between the insurance company and the insured where payment responsibility is
shared for all claims covered by the policy, usually expressed as a percentage.
• Out-of-Pocket Maximum: The annual maximum amount of money you will pay in addition to copays and deductibles.
• In-Network: Providers or facilities who have agreed to discounted fees with insurance carriers to participate within their
provider networks.
• Non-Network: A provider with whom an insurance carrier does not have a contract to provide healthcare services. A
member may pay higher copays, coinsurance and/or deductibles to see a non-network provider or have no coverage at all.
