401(k) Plan
401(k) PLAN: On the first day of the calendar quarter, following the completion of one month’s employment, Employees are
eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. The Traditional 401(k) Plan allows Employees to set aside pre-tax money for retirement
through payroll deductions. The Roth 401(k) Plan allows Employees to set aside post-tax money. Please note you may defer up to
100% of gross earnings subject to federally mandated maximum annual deferrals.
The Company will make a matching contribution of up to 50% of your salary deferral with an annual maximum amount of
$6,000. Matching contributions are subject to a 3-year vesting period.
Additional Benefits / Time Off
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP): EmployeeConnect is a confidential program available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
offering support, guidance, and other resources. Furthermore, EmployeeConnect provides assistance to you or immediate
household family members for matters related to topics, such as mental-health, financial, legal, childcare, and eldercare issues.
FITNESS MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT PROGRAM: (California) The Company has partnered with Equinox Fitness Clubs to offer our
Employees reduced monthly fees for memberships in most major cities where we have offices. Features of this program include
waived initiation fee and reduced monthly membership fees.
EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE: Employees are encouraged to continue learning within their professions or careers. Accordingly, all
Full-Time Employees may be eligible for tuition reimbursement, up to $1,000 per calendar year, for courses directly related to their
performance or positions.
CREDIT UNIONS: Employees may participate in the Stanford Federal Credit Union. For more details, please contact Human
Resources.
TIME OFF: Typically, from the first day of employment, Employees accrue vacation time at the rate of 3.33 hours per pay period,
which equates to 2 weeks (80 hours) of vacation time per year for the first four years of service. From the start of the fifth year of
service through the ninth year, Employees accrue vacation time at the rate of 5.00 hours per pay period, which equates to 3 weeks
per year (120 hours). After the start of the tenth year of employment, vacation accrues at the rate of 6.66 hours per pay period,
equal to 4 weeks (160 hours) per year.
HOLIDAYS 2020: Typically, Employees enjoy these paid holidays each year:
• New Year’s Day • Labor Day • Christmas Day
• President’s Day • Thanksgiving Day • Holiday Shutdown (M 12/28/20 - W 12/30/20)*
• Memorial Day • Day After Thanksgiving • New Year’s Eve Day
• Independence Day • Christmas Eve *Available vacation hours may be used
SICK DAYS: (California) Each year, Full-Time Employees receive 40 hours of paid sick time, which renews annually on the
anniversary of the Employee’s hire date. For Full-Time Employees located outside of California, the Company abides by the
applicable sick leave requirements, as directed by each state.
OTHER TIME OFF: Other time off includes, Maternity/Baby Bonding Leave, Bereavement Leave, Leave of Absence, Jury Duty,
Witness Duty, and Time Off to Vote. Some of the above absences will be paid and others will be without pay.
While the Benefit Highlights is not an all-inclusive document, the Company abides by all State and Federal requirements.
