Design

This newly renovated building will provide office
space for more than 600 engineers and other
employees. The concept for the design was a
Moroccan courtyard and garden feel inside. The
main center and design feature of the building is
a 30’ custom trellis created for vining plants and a
terra cotta tile stage built for over 25 potted plants
all with a custom lighting design created just for
the plants.

The planning and design phase took over 9
months. In the end over 100 planters were selected
and installed from 10 different suppliers. Over 300
plants were installed. The plants for the trellis were
custom grown and each vine was attached and
manipulated to grow up the trellis, some reaching
over 12’ tall. Special trellis attachments were used
to climb and vine the plants up the trellis.

Keeping with the outdoor garden them in the cafe
we brought in over 3000 pounds of decorative
rock to create rock gardens where there was Design
not enough light for live plants. plants make the 2022
space so warm and welcoming and they feel more
connected to nature. Platinum
