Create a new Office 365 Group in Outlook.
 Outlook /email
Outlook continues to the be undisputed leader for email and calendar. Today’s version of Outlook, however, comes with a feature called Focused Inbox that auto- matically sorts your email, creates @mentions to catch someone’s attention, and uses built-in AI.
When you create an Office 365 Group, the shared mailbox and calendar for the group are visible in Outlook. This makes it easy for members to see the latest con- versations, files, and other content without leaving the Outlook interface.
Teams
We cover Teams in great detail in Chapter 15, but as a summary, Teams is a digital hub for teamwork. It is a chat-based environment designed to foster easy connec- tions and conversations to help build relationships. Teams is also built on top of Office 365 Groups.
Yammer
Yammer is your social network for the enterprise. It is your Facebook at work — but better. It’s what you use for open team discussions and can be used to crowd source ideas and collect knowledge. You can get a pulse for your organization via polls, praise, and follows. Actionable updates and alerts help drive engagement. When integrated with Office 365 Groups, Yammer gets the added benefit of Groups experiences such as a shared notebook, a SharePoint team site, a document library, and more.
SharePoint
SharePoint is still your go-to solution for content management and collaboration with the benefit of custom workflows and advanced permissions. You can design beautiful sites with zero coding skills, and it integrates seamlessly across all of the collaboration solutions in Office 365. See Part 3 for more on using SharePoint.
