FIGURE 20-1:
The Office 365 management website.
Microsoft designed this interface for everyday users with the idea being that it doesn’t take an IT expert to manage the Office 365 product. The main Office 365 management interface is actually a website you navigate to with your favorite web browser.
A web interface for managing an online product is nothing new. If you have ever used Facebook or LinkedIn, then you are familiar with using your web browser to manage an online product. The Office 365 management interface is no different; it is just the interface designed by Microsoft to manage their business cloud product.
The Office 365 management page can be accessed by navigating to the following URL in your web browser: https://www.office.com.
You sign in by using the credentials you used to sign up for the Office 365 product. After you have signed in, click the waffle in the upper-left corner of the screen, then select Admin. The Office 365 management website appears, as shown in Figure 20-1.
The management interface discussed in this chapter focuses on the Office 365 Business Premium plan. If you are using one of the Enterprise plans, you will have more management options. For example, the new voice and phone options are only available in the Enterprise E5 plan. Depending on your plan, the options for that plan are available in the management interface.
