z Tips
Starting recording quickly • When the (Movie) lamp is lit, the size of
(QUICK ON) still images becomes [ 3.0M] (16:9 wide) or
[2.2M] (4:3).
• You can record still images during recording
standby in the same way as when the (Still)
lamp is lit. You can also record with the flash.
Recording in dark places
(NightShot)
If you press the QUICK ON button, instead Infrared port
of turning off the power, the camcorder
becomes power saving status (Sleep mode).
While the Sleep mode is set, the QUICK
ON button is flashed. To resume the next
recording, press the QUICK ON button
again. Your camcorder will be ready for Recording/Playback
recording after about 1 second.
z Tips
• While the Sleep mode is set, the power
consumption of the camcorder is reduced by
about a half when it is compared during
recording, and the battery power can be saved.
• When no operation is performed in the Sleep You can record images in dark places to set
mode, the power is turned off automatically. the NIGHTSHOT switch to ON. (
