THE CHANCELLOR takes Mr. Michael Anthony Holding by the hand and says:
“BY THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME BY THE SENATE AND THE COUNCIL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES, I NOW CONFER UPON YOU THE DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF LAWS HONORIS CAUSA OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES.”
THE CHANCELLOR hands Dr. Michael Anthony Holding his scroll and shakes his hand. THE CHANCELLOR caps Dr. Michael Anthony Holding.
Dr. Michael Anthony Holding caps the Chancellor and returns to his seat.
The Ceremony continues with the award of the other Honorary Degree.
THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR caps the Chancellor and calls on the Public Orator saying:
“CHANCELLOR, I NOW ASK THE PUBLIC ORATOR, DR. MICHAEL BUCKNOR, TO PRESENT MRS. DONETTE CHIN-LOY CHANG WHOM THE SENATE AND THE COUNCIL OF THE UNIVERSITY HAVE BEEN PLEASED TO RECOMMEND FOR THE AWARD OF THE DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF LAWS HONORIS CAUSA.”
THE PUBLIC ORATOR caps the Chancellor and presents Mrs. Donette St Monica Chin- Loy Chang.
