Professor David Tennant caps the Chancellor and says:
“SIR, MY COLLEAGUES AND I ASK YOU TO RECEIVE AS GRADUATE MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY THESE PERSONS PRESENT, WHO HAVING FULFILLED THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY, HAVE BEEN ADMITTED TO THE DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE OR AS HOLDERS OF DIPLOMAS OF THIS UNIVERSITY.”
THE CHANCELLOR says:
"BY THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME, I RECEIVE THESE PERSONS WHOSE NAMES ARE ABOUT TO BE CALLED, AND THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND, AS GRADUATE MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY, AND AS HOLDERS OF DIPLOMAS OF THIS UNIVERSITY.”

The Valedictorian’s Address
Following the presentation of graduates, the Chancellor calls on the Class Valedictorian to address the Company saying:
“I NOW CALL ON THE CLASS VALEDICTORIAN, MISS KHADINE HYLTON, BACHELOR OF LAWS, WITH FIRST CLASS HONOURS, TO DELIVER THE VALEDICTORY ADDRESS.”
THE CHANCELLOR sits.
Miss Khadine Hylton addresses the Company and returns to her seat. The Ceremony continues with the Award of Higher Degrees.
