The Valedictorian’s Address
Following the presentation of graduates, the Chancellor calls on the Class Valedictorian to address the Company saying:
“I NOW CALL ON THE CLASS VALEDICTORIAN, MS. DELLUE WINT, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MANAGEMENT STUDIES (GENERAL), WITH FIRST CLASS HONOURS, TO DELIVER THE VALEDICTORY ADDRESS.”
THE CHANCELLOR sits
Ms. Dellue Wint addresses the Company and returns to her seat. The Ceremony continues with the Award of Higher Degrees
The Award of Higher Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas
THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR caps the Chancellor and says:
“SIR, I NOW CALL ON PROFESSOR STEPHAN GIFT, PRO VICE- CHANCELLOR GRADUATE STUDIES AND RESEARCH, TO PRESENT TO YOU MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY FOR THE AWARD OF HIGHER DEGREES.”
Professor Stephan Gift moves to the microphone, caps the Chancellor and says:
“SIR, I PRESENT TO YOU THESE MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY, WHO HAVING FULFILLED THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS UNIVERSITY HAVE BEEN AWARDED POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS AND ADMITTED TO MASTERS DEGREES AND BEG THAT YOU RECOGNIZE THEIR ADVANCEMENT IN OUR SOCIETY.”
