Dr. The Hon. Kenneth Benjamin addresses the Company and returns to his seat. THE CHANCELLOR invites the University Singers to perform saying:
“THE UNIVERSITY SINGERS WILL NOW PERFORM.”

The Award of First Degrees, Associate Degrees and Diplomas
THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR caps the Chancellor and says:
“CHANCELLOR, THE PERSONS WHOSE NAMES WILL BE CALLED, STUDIED IN THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES, AND HAVING FULFILLED THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES, BEG LEAVE TO BE PRESENTED TO YOU AND TO THE SENATE OF THE UNIVERSITY BY THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THEIR FACULTY AS BACHELORS OF SCIENCE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES.”
THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR says:
“Sir, The University Director,
Institute for Gender and Development Studies, Regional Coordinating Unit, Professor Opal Palmer Adisa”
