Historien bakom rum 451
Själva byggnaden är ursprungligen inte en del utav hotellet. Den upptäcktes av en slump år
2002 när vi inspekterade två andra rumsfönster (rum 406 och 306) som vetter mot samma
innergård. Under inspektionen av fönster och innergård upptäckte vi en vacker lagerlokal
som var helt tom och inte använts under de senaste 45 åren. Hjulet ni ser i taket var en del
av en sänknings och höjnings mekanism som till stor del fungerade som en lasthiss fungerar i
dag. Vi tog kontakt med ägarna av fastigheten och idag har vi 13 rum i denna fina gamla
byggnad.
The story behind room 451
The actual building is not originally a part of the hotel. It was discover by coincidence in 2002, when we had to inspect 2 other room windows (room 406 and 306) that face the same courtyard. During the inspection of the windows and the courtyard, we saw that there was a beautiful and completely empty old warehouse next to our building. It had not been used for the last 45 years. The wheel you see in the roof was a part of an old lowering and raising mechanism. Much in the same was a freight elevator works today. So, we contacted the owners of the building and soon after began to renovate and build 13 new rooms.
