Svanen quarter have been: Consul Carl Lund and Louis Meyer, pur- chase deed on June 18, 1894, purchase price 150,000 kr., legal title on July 20, 1896; Carl Lund, purchase deed for half the property on June 18, 1898, purchase price 75,000 kr., legal title on July 20, 1896; whole- sale merchant Evald Larsen, purchase deed on July 8, 1898, purchase price 195,000 kr., legal title on July 24, 1899; Evald Larsen's estate, legal title on the same day; and wholesale merchant G. Zatterstrom, purcha- se deed on January 26, 1899, purchase price 200,000 kr., legal title on July 24, 1899.
In 1869 the owner of the property was the artist Albert Larsson, who, was born in Malmo on November 4th, 1869, purchased the property from Zatterstrom on December 23rd, 1905 for 375,000 kr and recei- ved the title on January 15th, 1906, and has carefully preserved the property in its historical condition.
The changes to the property that have occurred since Hans Friis' time are as follows: in 1891 the entrance at Adelgatan was improved, in 1895 the basement floor of the townhouse was redone as a printing and editorial office for the newspaper Malmo-Tidningen, in 1896 the former Alarm Street was built with a beer hall, which was adorned with a beautiful granite street portal, in 1905 larger windows were installed on the Adelgatan side, in 1906 the basement floor of the townhouse was redone as a dining hall and concert hall, which was connected to the beer hall and Tunnel Cellar, in 1908 and 1913 the third and second floors of the townhouse were redone as guest rooms for the Tunnel Hotel and so on.
The Tunnel's cellar vault was first subject to an art critical examination by Professor C. G. Brunius from Lund in the late 1840s. The result of this examination was included in his 1850 work "Skåne's Art History of the Middle Ages", in which he writes the following about the cellar
