Training at Northlands Park - Alberta
Hollys Courage, 2 year old Alberta bred Filly trained by Tom Rycroft with Brandon Duchaine aboard. Named for Alberta jockey Holly Crichton who published
her memoir No Way To Run, about her trials with a very abusive husband, a
race wreck which left her paralyzed
and what her family endured when her youngest son shot her husband. She’s an unbelievable woman, and Riley wanted to name this Filly for her. He called Holly for permission last winter and got the name. Long time backstretch workers and fans from Evergreen Park and Northlands Park will all be cheering this Filly on this season!
