Horses training on the track at Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver, British Columbia with a backdrop of the mountains. 2017 Live Thoroughbred Racing begins Sunday, April 23, 2017 and will run Saturdays and Sundays (and holiday Mondays) until Sunday, October 22, 2017 (1:50pm rst race post time). Fridays will replace Saturdays from July 28 through September 1 (7:00pm) and there will be racing on Mondays August 21 & 28 (5:00 pm) with no weekend racing during PNE.
Feature race days include Monday, August 7, BC Day Festival of Racing;
Saturday, September 9, G3 BC Derby and BC Oaks; and Sunday, October 22 is BC Cup day.
