42nd Annual Sovereign Awards Ceremony

Longtime Owner/Breeder Ivan Dalos accepted his  rst ever Sovereign Award from presenter Yvonne Schwabe when his Broodmare Galloping Ami was named Outstanding Broodmare. Another of Dalos’ broodmares, Keen Victory was also a nominee for this award in 2016. The Outstanding Broodmare Award
is a lifetime achievement award. Galloping Ami, a great granddaughter of one Dalos’ foundation mares Sybelle Ami and is the mare of Amis Gizmo, who was named 2016’s Champion Three Year-old Male.
Ivan’s Tall Oaks Farm is also the breeder of 2016 Champion Turf Male winner Conquest Enforcer.
Tall Oaks Farm at 92 points was one point away
from being named Outstanding Breeder with Adena Springs earning their seventh award in this category with 93 points as determined by the voters.
