Richard Bonnycastle of Harlequin Ranches is flanked by jockeys (from left) Jim McAleney, Dino Luciani, Jono Jones and Na Somsanith, who were all wearing the Harlequin Ranches silks representing his four fillies in this year’s Labatt Woodbine Oaks. Jockey Jim McAleney was the rider aboard eventual winner, Gold Strike, while Dino Luciani rode Pirouetting; Jono Jones was named aboard Bosskiri (owned in partnership with Park Stud & D. Morgan Firestone) and Na Somsanith was named aboard Whiskey And Low all of whom are trained by Reade Baker.

Fillies trained by Reade Baker made up half of this year’s Labatt Woodbine Oaks’ 10 horse field which resulted in a sea of blue shirts worn by his staff on the apron at Woodbine before the race.
