Dynamic Sky will be a new
stallion for 2017 at Shannondoe Farm representing a sire line that wasn’t previously available in Ontario. Arika purchased the son of Sky Mesa (Pulpit) from owner John Oxley after the Keeneland November Sale when he did not sell (RNA $45,000).
Never missing a day of training, Dynamic Sky was retired sound in 2016 with more than $1.1 million in earnings from 5 wins, 6 seconds and 7 thirds in 35 starts.
A Graded Stakes and Multiple Stakes winner, Dynamic Sky, won races on synthetic, dirt and turf and competed
at 6 furlongs to sixteen furlongs. He was named 2014 Sovereign Award Champion Turf Male after winning
the G3 Red Smith H. at Aqueduct,
and placing second or third in the G3 Singspeil, G2 Nijinsky, G1 Northern Dancer and G1 Canadian International.
He won the Simcoe Stakes at age 2 at Woodbine and was sixth in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita that year. His three year-old campaign began with a win in the Pasco Stakes followed by a second in the G3 Sam
F Davis Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs. Back at Woodbine he placed third in the Queenston, was a winner in the Plate Trial Stakes and  nished third in the Queen’s Plate.
