Agent Scott Lane presented jockey Regina Sealock with the award for Outstanding Jockey
Muriel McCutcheon, the grand- daughter of American born female jockey, Ethel S.Wharton, donated her grandmother’s 1909 Bertie Fair Trophy for American Lady Jockeys. The inaugural award will now be given to the leading female rider at Fort Erie.
“I donated this trophy because it belongs here. This is where my grandmother would want it to be.” said Muriel.
