STEP 1 Form an Overhand Knot, and tuck the running end back
through it.

STEP 2 Trace the running end behind and around the standing part,
and back through the knot.

STEP 3 Tighten down the knot by pulling on all leads.

To tie the knot more quickly, note that tying a slipknot is a quick way
to finish the first step.
