NEW Bukola Adisa

Europe Head of Regulatory Compliance
Monitoring and Testing, HSBC

Bukola is a senior compliance and financial crime expert
with extensive experience in the financial services industry.
She is currently the Europe Head of Regulatory
Compliance Monitoring and Testing at HSBC. In this role,
she oversees a regional team of 110 professionals who are
responsible for conducting regulatory reviews to ensure that
the bank is compliant with relevant regulations across all
lines of business.
Prior to this role, Bukola was at RBS where she led the
Financial Crime Assurance team globally. While at RBS, she
was promoted three times in 18 months.
She has also spent time at JP Morgan Chase and
Deloitte LLP where she advised top-tier banking clients on
regulatory matters.
She is passionate about the progression of women and
BAME professionals in the workplace.
At each organisation Bukola has worked at, she has been
an active member of the Women’s network as well as the
Business, Corporates,
BME networks. She actively mentors BME professionals and
sponsors the careers of a number of high potential BME
women.
Bukola is also the Founder/CEO of Career Masterclass, a
not-for-profit organisation focused on instilling in women
and BME professionals practical skills that they can use to
build and enjoy a successful career.
To date, Career Masterclass has run a programme of
webinars, talks and other events and will host its first
annual conference in October 2017.
