y biggest achievement is completing my undergraduate degree at
5 MCambridge University and leaving with a 2:1 in English Literature. It
was the toughest thing I have done in my life but I can now proudly say
that I conquered Cambridge! Another achievement is the growth of my
YouTube channel and my other social media platforms, and the incredible
opportunities that have come and continue to come from it. I now have over
28,000 subscribers and over 1.2million views on my channel. It still shocks
me every time I think about how I started as a random girl at university who
started making videos on her laptop, to now being blessed enough to be making an
impact on people’s lives across the globe. Another achievement I am proud of is BEBB,
a platform I have created to teach people things they don’t learn in school, hear on the
news and to challenge dominant narratives that already exist. I have been working on
this media platform for a very long time, with university often getting in the way, but
now we are very close to the nishing line! Our website is www.bebbonline.co.uk

his year has been extremely eventful for me in the most positive way. Before
Tbeing featured in the Future Leaders magazine, my life was very focused around
my medical degree. Despite all the extra activities I was doing outside university,
such as running To the Point Education Consultancy/Mentoring Scheme, I found it
my business plan to allow To the Point Education to be e ectively run even 6
di cult to take things to the next level as I felt that it would disrupt my degree.
After meeting and reading the stories of the other individuals recognised as
Future Leaders I realised how important it was for me to be consistent in the
areas of my life outside of medicine. Based on this principle, after nishing
my Intercalated BSc in Management I started working on restructuring
during my busy periods in university. I would advise any young person thinking
of attending university to think about the bigger picture. A degree in any subject
looks even better when accompanied by a well-rounded individual.

T echnology is constantly evolving, bringing innovation to new areas. I, too, look for new
Tchallenges to apply and further my tech-based and managerial skills. Before becoming a
Future Leaders awardee, I had set up a web-design company which I continue to grow.
This year has seen the company gain new clients in the nancial sector. However, at
7 the start of the academic year, I lacked the ful lment I had from volunteering in
Nigeria during my studies. I was keen to continue my volunteer work in the UK, so
developed a Food Drop project with a peer to help redistribute surplus food from
the high street to local charities in need. Similar to my work in Nigeria, we had
identi ed a social problem and worked fast to make a change. The project quickly
grew (having delivered thousands of meals within a few months) and gained awards
from schemes organised by O2 and Telefonica. I am now heading into the fourth year
of my Mechanical Engineering degree at Bath. I plan to continue to study hard, grow my
web-design business, and take on the challenge of launching a new company.
