ropean faces, neither can they sculpt women’s body in his manner. The few attempts made to imitate

these sculptures made them look like frozen cartoon characters. Since 2002, Christian realizes animals
                   only if commissioned.

Christian also dedicated himself to foundry works for famous sculptors like Louis Cane, Lovato,

Antoni Clavé, Cardenas, Jean Clos, Isabelle Waldberg, among many others. He also helps beginners art-
ists, doing the foundry work for their artworks, as free as possible.

His taste for excess dragged him away into monumental works, notably Monaco’s For-

mula 1, and a gigantic, 12 meters high sculpture for Malaysia. This work took 2 years and
is accomplished on location in South-eastern Asia. Also in South-eastern Asia, architect offices commis-

sioned him for arrangements in luxury hostels and spas. His occupation made the doors of sumptuous
dwellings swing open for him. In 2005 Maas executed the sculpture of the huge Buddhas inside the

Buddha-bars. He settled in Dubai for the first time.

His childhood dreams became reality, to be able to cross the world back and forth, tirelessly, to
live in grand hotels where he is known and renowned and served accordingly to his multiple whims and

maniacal alimentary habits. There, he is at ease, and may entertain himself.

Various personalities support him in his research works. He elaborated with Brigitte Bardot the
“Toreshina” series, dedicated to the birds touched by oil-disasters. SAS Prince Rainier de Monaco en-

tirely financed the exhibit that took place in the Oceanographic Museum during 2 months. This led him
to his first appearance on FR3 TV-news, to champion and art he named “Political Art”.

Christian exchanged several mails with the Head of State, who asked Christian to keep him in-

formed about his exhibitions. As an artist Christian represents France throughout the world and partici-
pates in his country’s radiance by imposing his artworks, in his own way, outside any conventions or artis-

tic current, and manages to be present in the most diverse and unexpected places. He is sculpting Jacques
                   Chirac’s bust in August 2005.
