#3160 Palos Park Asst. FEM Janet G. saved a customer
from a scam after she overheard the elderly man talking 6
about trying to send a $2,400 money gram to his
granddaughter after he was told she was jailed. Janet
called police, who confirmed it’s an ongoing scam targeting the elderly.
