Mark has been a dedicated associate for 48 years and his concern for customers and
employees continues to be his top priority. A consistently conscientious “hard
worker” who interacts with receiving, inventory control, shipping, transportation
and operations. A “selfless” employee who prioritizes the needs of the business
before his own. Mark is ALWAYS available to provide a helping hand.
With the pandemic he has provided valuable assistance to our sales teams in Itasca
and various Procurement/DC associates in Melrose Park. Very often you can fine
Mark in the cooler downstairs being proactive and looking for any potential issues
that may arise.

Chuck is unquestionably an outstanding “team player” who routinely provides supervisor
coverage for our department on a rotating basis, on various shifts. Regardless of whether he is
asked to cover the day, afternoon, or overnight shift, he readily adapts his hours and can
always be relied upon to be flexible with shift coverage. Chuck consistently maintains an
accommodating, positive, and “can-do” attitude and exhibits his unwavering commitment to
safety in numerous ways. He interacts with our drivers and listens to their feedback and then

works to resolve those opportunities. Prior to joining the Transportation department, Chuck Transportation
worked a significant portion of his career in Jewel Security and the skills that he gained from Supervisor
that role have transferred nicely to our department. Chuck is always approachable and Transportation
maintains a calm, professional and cooperative demeanor when interacting with others. He 27
has gained the respect of his peers and drivers and is always a pleasure to work with.
