Julian Jaimes, Store #3240 – Aurora, Deli Clerk

Julian believes that if you want something you have to work hard
for it. He always carries that mindset with him whether at work or
school. Julian has spent each day in the deli department at Jewel-
Osco working hard to make it a great day. He has been given the
responsibility of handling the chicken counter for his manager.
Julian is a leader among his peers. He has volunteered countless
hours as a tutor at Waubonsee Community College and Rho Kappa
where he takes the opportunity to help classmates succeed in their
classes. On campus, Julian is involved in a number of organizations,
including Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Rho Kappa National
Honor Society. Julian plans on utilizing his degree with a plan to
advance his career at Jewel-Osco to lead him into the Store
Management Training Program and beyond. We are proud to have
selected Julian to be the recipient of the Brian Finnegan Memorial
Scholarship award.
