Thank you for your interest in Duncan Polytechnical High School, and welcome. Whether you
have an older brother or sister who attended Duncan, live in the Central Valley and are exploring
Duncan for the first time, or are a student within the Fresno Unified School District who already

knows about our school, I hope you find this booklet interesting, informative, enjoyable and
easy to use. As you will see, Duncan is not your traditional high school. At Duncan, we believe
that engaging and rigorous academic training combined with career-skills development is the

best form of education that results in countless opportunities for graduates. I hope this booklet
conveys the essence of the exciting opportunities and wonderful learning environment fostered

by our dedicated teachers and talented students. Together they make Duncan a unique and
special place.
