Additional Pathway Learning

Experiences and Opportunities ENRICHMENT
While in a Duncan pathway, students participate in learning
activities to prepare them for college and careers. Each year,
students work on projects that reinforce learning across linked
courses (the pathway course, English and science/social
science). As juniors and seniors, students can earn college
credit transferable to city and state colleges. Students can
receive industry certifications that make them more
marketable in the workforce. Students also can participate
in local internships and take study trips to pathway-themed
businesses as well as trade schools and colleges.

Hmong Heritage is a class that allowed me to
learn deeply about my culture and helped me achieve
a greater level in all my other classes, by building my
confidence as a native hmong speaker.
