Just some basic exercise is enough. Pull up bars, surfboard jetski and bike is all I need.
Common Sense Health Part #8: Healthy Body and Healthy Mind – the benefits of meditation and exercise . . .
You have all heard this before. YOU must
exercise. Easier said than done right? But look the easiest thing to do is to walk for just 30 minutes a day. In a park, on the beach, on a treadmill . . . wherever you can. Just do SOME exercise. The human body is the ONLY machine that wears out from LACK of use. On the other hand, the more you use it the stronger it gets.
I don’t like gyms. Every time I joined a gym I
wasted my money. I remember paying $800 for a
year one time, going once to their yoga class . . .
and never going again. I LOVE walking on the
beach. Or going surfing and jetskiing. Or bike riding. What do you like?
This is important. Do something you enjoy. But also remember, EVERY form of exercise is hard at first if you haven’t exercised for a while. Just do SOMETHING.
For years I did YOGA. Not always in a class, but mostly on the beach or in a park. I found that yoga is very good for your body and for your mind . . .
Meditation For Health And Well being . . .
The BEST and the most challenging thing I have EVER done was 6 x 10 day meditation retreats called Vipassanna.
The technique of Vipassana meditation is a practical way to achieve peace of
mind and live a happy, productive life. It is learned by attending a 10-day
residential course with a qualified teacher where the student is free from
distractions so that the reality within can be observed.
